Throughout her time working as a Parent Educator, Maria has helped and empowered countless families to invest in their children&#8217;s education. Maria is dedicated to the families she serves in many different ways,\u00a0as she understands\u00a0the\u00a0diverse\u00a0issues and needs of those in the community. Luisa Candelaria, the Parents as Teachers Program Coordinator at Focus Points, described Maria as &#8220;a natural leader, who\u00a0continues to grow with her families on a daily basis. Maria loves the work she does with families, and most importantly, the families feel so lucky when they have Maria as their Parent Educator.&#8221;<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"font_8\"><span class=\"color_14\">Maria has made a difference in the lives of many parents and children throughout her time with Focus Points and Parents as Teachers, and we are confident that she will continue to do so. Her colleagues regard her &#8220;pleasant personality, her ability to bring solutions to the table, and her flexibility when needed, as\u00a0great examples of how Maria demonstrates team spirit and leadership.
