What is PAT?
Parents as Teachers (PAT) is a FREE parent education and family support program for families with children from prenatal through kindergarten. Trained parent educators, also known as home visitors, meet regularly with families (once or twice a month) in your home or at a location convenient for you. During these visits you’ll receive child development information, parenting strategies, fun activities to promote school readiness, and connections to community resources. Children also receive annual screenings (hearing, vision, and developmental) to make sure they’re on track to start kindergarten ready to learn. Click here to find a program near you
